Categories
In addition to competitions, York Photographic Society runs project nights where members are encouraged to submit their work for discussion and feedback in a fun and friendly format. The number of project nights and categories change from year to year.
Schedule and Dates
Submissions are typically due 2 weeks before the project night event.
Dates for submission and presentation night are outlined in the Annual Programme
Submissions
Project night entries must be uploaded in the correct format to Photo Entry.
Rules
Members are invited to submit up to 5 images for sharing and informal discussion. Photo entries must be uploaded to PhotoEntry.
Images must measure a maximum of 1600 pixels wide and 1200 pixels tall
They must be labelled in the following manner:
Author_Image Number_Title
e.g.
Joe Bloggs_1_Humpty Dumpty
Joe Bloggs_2_Sat on the wall
Joe Bloggs_3_Had a great fall
Joe Bloggs_4_All the Kings Horses
Joe Bloggs_5_All the Kings Men
Please Note: Photo Entry automatically adds the name of the entrant.
