Inaugural Team Challenge Night Report

YPS enjoyed two presentations on Wednesday on "Beamish: Travel back in time" and The Seaside: Bridlington.

Peter, Bayliss, Don Proud and Brian Jackson were involved in the first project on the night.  The talk on Beamish took us around the museum showing the many different displays and people that are involved in entertaining all the visitors. They especially seemed to enjoy the steam train and engineering aspects of the museum and there was a healthy discussion on the difference between a tram and a trolley bus.

Alison Taylor and Jaime Raynor-Joyce presented their photo journalism project on Bridlington.  This was a mix of documentary photographs as well as many images of the people that live and visit the resort.  There were also some artistic and evocative photographs of the beach and harbour.

It was evident that both groups  enjoyed the process of taking photographs and preparing the presentation and I for one am looking forward to plotting my next club project.
