First Meeting of 2016 and an Updated YPS Member Gallery

Hi folks. Don't forget that we kick off 2016 with a Project Night this week at YPS. The theme is "Patterns in Nature" and this can be interpreted in any way you like.

As a brief recap on the details that were on the email that Alison circulated recently, images should fit within a box measuring 1400 pixels horizontally by 1050 pixels vertically. They should be JPEGs in sRGB space.

Name the files as number_some title_your name.jpg (e.g. 1_reflection in lake_freda bloggs.jpg). So, no leading zero and an underscore between the number and title and then title and name. The reason for this is so that images are projected in some sort of order rather than a single member's images being shown in one go.

Bring your images along on a USB stick on the night or you can email them to Russell using the address given in Alison's email.

Also new for 2016 is Roger Mockridge's updated gallery.

Any member can have a gallery page on the website. If you want one, email up to nine images to Russell. The images should be JPEGs in sRGB space and measure no more than 2048 pixels along the longest edge (either vertical or horizontal - for these images, it doesn't matter). Likewise, those of you who already have a gallery and want it updating, email a new set of images to Russell.
