The Final Talk of the Season

Last week was the final talk by an external speaker at YPS when we were entertained by Irene Froy and her "Passion for Pastels". She took us through her images, predominantly - as the title suggested - pastels, along with a commentary on how the image was taken and what was done in post-processing. Irene told us about her use of the white fill layer in Photoshop and also the "Defroyser" lens filter.

This week is our final talk altogether when YPS President Allan Harris will be showing his images in the annual YPS President's Night. Allan's talk is entitled "Travels with my Camera".

Don't forget that next week (April 29th) is our final Project Night when the subject is "Images of a Stranger" and that there is a week's hiatus before our Annual General Meeting which has had to be postponed until May 13th.
