New Season Starts 6th September. Full 2017-2018 programme published

This is the website of York Photographic Society, York's longest established photography club and indeed one of Britain's earliest photographic societies. New members are always welcome to this thriving, friendly and energetic camera club.

The First YPS Competitions Of The Season

Congratulations go to Harry Silcock for his winning entry in this year's Projected Digital Image competition with this cracking shot, "Inquisitive Rams".

The other winner on the night was Jaime Raynor-Joyce with "Asperous", her atmospheric image of an iconic York street, The Shambles which was awarded the John Saville Rosebowl.
