York Photographic Society

29th November Digital Projected Images and John Saville Competitions judged by Peter Thompson

This is the website of York Photographic Society, York's longest established photography club and indeed one of Britain's earliest photographic societies. New members are always welcome to this thriving, friendly and energetic camera club.

Renowned photographer Tony Worobiec will be giving a talk to YPS on the 25th February 2015 entitled, "Photographing the Coast". The lecture illustrates how accessible the coast is regarding photography, as it can be photographed during the day or at night. While most of the images have been taken within the UK, several have been taken in other parts of Europe and the US
