Former York Photographic Society member Pat Reed will be returning to York Photographic Society on the 28th January 2015 to give a talk entitled, "Pat's Eye". Here's some information about Pat:
I have been taking photographs since joining the York Photographic Society in 1992 and have had work accepted in many national and international exhibitions. I have won several awards, including 2 FIAP (International Federation of Photographic Art) Silver medals and 1 Bronze.
Photography is a very large part of my life and I really shoot whatever takes my fancy. It is very personal, but when other people like my pictures, that is a big bonus. I find the majority of my inspriration near to home, with the big skies and lonely beaches, although I also enjoy photographing flowers and the small things around me.
West Riding born and bred, I now live in Holderness in the East Riding of Yorkshire, having spent 13 years in Scarborough and 14 years in York.
