This is the website of York Photographic Society, York's longest established photography club and indeed one of Britain's earliest photographic societies. New members are always welcome to this thriving, friendly and energetic camera club.

Congratulations to Lewis Outing who won our first print competition of the year, the YPS Monochrome Print Competition, expertly judged by Bill Johnson ARPS, DPAGB, APAGB. Entitled "Rugby", the image was a striking close-up capture of a maul. Lewis also had an image the was Highly Commended (see gallery below). Click on the image to view on black.
