This is the website of York Photographic Society, York's longest established photography club and indeed one of Britain's earliest photographic societies. New members are always welcome to this thriving, friendly and energetic camera club.

York Photographic Society's annual Monochrome Print Competition was held on the 4th February 2015 and was expertly judged by John Reed. Seventy one (71) entries were whittled down to 3 placed, three highly commended and three commended images.

So congratulations goes to current YPS President Allan Harris who won this year's Competition with his atmospheric shot entitled, "Sensing Spaces; Royal Academy". Click on the image to fit to screen and view on black.
